Code of Conduct


  • Respect other customers and the Superscript staff. This includes treating the personal property of players, such as their games and supplies, with respect.
  • Make sure that your personal belongings are safely stowed on or under tables so that customers are able to shop comfortably.
  • If you have a question or need assistance at a time when all members of staff are busy, please be patient.
  • Respect the physical space of others. Do not touch other customers or staff inappropriately or without their permission.
  • Win and lose respectfully.

Disrupting Games & Events

  • Do not interrupt a game you are not involved in to provide commentary, strategic advice, constructive criticism or rules information without the express consent of the players and event staff involved.
  • Music or audio from videos on personal devices must be played through headphones.


  • Speak to others the way that they wish to be spoken to. Abusive or derogatory language will not be tolerated.


  • Taking any property belonging to another player or the store will result in a report to local law enforcement and any sanctioning body sponsoring an event.

Attire & Hygiene

  • Wearing clothing that is demeaning, abusive or overly revealing is not allowed inside Superscript Comics and Games. This includes apparel or accessories such as playmats.
  • If you or your clothing emit a noticeable odor, you may be asked to leave until the issue is taken care of.
  • You are responsible for keeping the play space around you clean -including any trash or spills.

Solicitation & Purchasing

  • Conducting any business without the express permission of Superscript Comics and Games Staff is prohibited. This includes the sale of property such as cards or the promotion of other businesses.


  • Cheating is prohibited, Event and store staff have the final say on if a player is deliberately cheating or creating an unfair play experience for another player.
  • Do not misrepresent the results of a game when participating in an event.
  • Do not introduce outside materials (ie. cards miniatures, or components) other than those registered or required to participate.


  • Weapons, concealed or otherwise, are not permitted on the premises.

Customers who violate any of these policies may be expelled from events or asked to leave the store at the discretion of Superscript staff.

New Release Comic Sales

Comics ordered before or during the week of their release are limited to one copy per customer. Multiple different covers of a given issue may be purchased, but no more than one of each cover of the same issue. Any additional quantities purchased will not be fulfilled and will be fully refunded.

Return Policy

We offer refunds within the first 30 days of your purchase, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund of any kind.

Eligibility for refunds

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original packaging.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items cannot be refunded.

The following are exempt from refunds

  • Gift cards
  • TCG Singles

Event Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours before an event. This gives us the opportunity to fill the event. Cancellation requests must be made by phone or in-store. Cancellation requests that are not made prior to the 48 hour window will not be refunded unless an exception is made by a member of management.
