MTG 2-Headed Giant Sealed: New York City Block

This item is for entry to a MTG 2-Headed Giant Sealed: New York City Block event taking place at Superscript Comics and Games.

Find a friend and visit the Magic plane of New York City in this sealed format 2-headed giant team event! Each team will receive a total of 12 play boosters from Marvel Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Marvel Super Heroes sets.

After deck construction, teams will face off in 3-rounds of this 2v2 tournament!

Entry is $30 per person. Players can sign up together to register as a team, or players can register solo to be teamed up with another player at the event! Prizes include 1 booster pack per player for each match win, plus a promo pack for any teams that go 3-0.

In Two-Headed Giant, each two-player team shares a starting 30 life and takes their turn simultaneously. The team does not share any other resources other than life. For instance, any reference to "you" on a card still applies to the individual holder.

Effects that read "each opponent" or "each player", however, affect each team member separately. Players can block any creature(s) that are attacking them, their teammates or Planeswalkers their team controls.

Please note our event cancellations policy:

All cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours before an event. This gives us the opportunity to fill the event. Cancellation requests must be made by phone or in-store. Cancellation requests that are not made prior to the 48 hour window will not be refunded unless an exception is made by a member of management.
